In 2004, Fred Eaglesmiths' Hobo Java & Legendary Guitar Cafe opened its doors to artists and musicians. Known as Port Dover's Best Store, it is run by Freds' son Tim, and his daughter Jessi spends a lot of time manning the shop!
Along with the recent addition of the ROBOT CAFE (right next door!), Hobo offers new and used musical instruments and amps, music lessons, artist/paint supplies, band t-shirts, old vinyl, all kinds of cd's, Fred Eaglesmith merchandise, E-Bikes, books, world coffee's, specialty cappuccino's and latte's, free wireless, comfy couches, and more...
In 2009 Hobo II opened in Simcoe Ontario to offer instruments, music lessons, supplies, gear, books, cd's and vinyl records to the locals.
